The body of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari is being placed in an ambulance at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua international airport in Katsina.
This marks, the beginning of his final journey home to Daura.
The corpse of the late president arrived from London earlier this afternoon after he passed away on July 13.
It was received by a high-level delegation led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice-President President Kashim Shettima, and Dikko Umar Radda, the governor of Katsina state.
Others include the members of the federal executive council (FEC), military top officials and dignitaries across the country.
The convoy has left for Daura, Buhari’s hometown, where he would be buried later today in accordance with Islamic rites.
