Kano commissioner for project monitoring resigns after redeployment to new ministry
Diggol was initially appointed as commissioner for transportation at the inception of Yusuf’s administration in 2023.

Muhammad Diggol has resigned from his position as the commissioner for project monitoring and evaluation in Kano.
Meanwhile, Abba Yusuf, the governor of Kano, has accepted Diggol’s resignation.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, spokesperson to the governor, said Yusuf expressed gratitude to Diggol for his “selfless service, unwavering commitment, dedication, and exemplary work ethic during his tenure as a member of the state executive council”.
Diggol was initially appointed as commissioner for transportation at the inception of Yusuf’s administration in 2023.
He was later reassigned to the ministry of project monitoring and evaluation, where he served until his resignation on Sunday.
He was the pioneer managing director of Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA).
