Independence Day: Tinubu to address Nigerians on Tuesday
Earlier, the federal government said this year's independence anniversary would be observed low-key due to the mood of the country.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will make a nationwide broadcast on Tuesday to mark the nation’s 64 independence anniversary.
Bayo Onanuga, special adviser to the president on information and strategy, announced this in a statement on Monday.
The presidential spokesperson said television, radio stations and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast.
