Ota to host maiden entertainment, innovation festival November 29

The creative and cultural scene of Ogun state is set for a major boost as OtaFEST 2025, a family-friendly open-air festival celebrating music, arts, sports, culture, and innovation, has been scheduled to hold on November 29 in Ado-Odo Ota.
Produced by Hertz Universe PR, the festival is envisioned as a multifunctional platform that unites communities while showcasing Ota’s growing reputation as an emerging entertainment and innovation hub.
According to the organisers, OtaFEST 2025 will attract more than 25,000 attendees from across Nigeria and beyond, with the maiden edition featuring a music concert, a boxing show, and games and recreational activities for children and youths — creating an inclusive and vibrant family atmosphere.
Speaking on the vision behind the event, Michael Adebowale, executive producer and project lead of OtaFEST, said the initiative represents a movement to reposition Ota as a centre for creativity and enterprise.
“OtaFEST 2025 is not just a festival; it is a movement to position Ado-Odo Ota as a hub for entertainment, culture, and innovation,” Adebowale said.
“Just like Lagos has become Nigeria’s entertainment capital, we believe Ota has the potential to attract innovators, entertainers, investors, and tourists.
“This festival will be a catalyst for showcasing the strength, creativity, and cultural richness of Ota to the world.”
The organisers said the festival will go beyond entertainment to provide economic and social empowerment opportunities, including exhibition spaces for vendors and SMEs, brand visibility for corporate sponsors, and employment and volunteer openings for local youths.
OtaFEST 2025 is also expected to enhance tourism and investment in Ogun state by merging music, sports, and cultural innovation into a single high-impact event.
It will serve as a platform for both established and upcoming talents to perform, while drawing attention to Ota’s creative ecosystem.
With support from local partners and sponsors, organisers say the festival aims to become an annual signature event that cements Ota’s place on Nigeria’s entertainment calendar and builds cross-cultural collaborations across Africa and beyond.
