He highlighted an improvement in performance and a reduction in examination malpractice cases compared to the previous year.

“A total of 6,160 candidates were caught engaging in malpractice, a 27.7% decrease from the 8,518 cases recorded in 2023,” he said.

“Fourteen centres—10 in Ogun and four in Oyo—have been blacklisted for their involvement in widespread malpractice in nine subjects.”

He also revealed that seven supervisors had been recommended for blacklisting due to poor supervision, lateness, and aiding malpractice.

These include two supervisors each from Oyo and Ogun States and one each from Lagos, Cross River, and Ebonyi states.

The NECO registrar said candidates can now access their 2024 SSCE External results via the official NECO website at www.neco.gov.ng using their examination registration number.
