Wike: I’ll spend 20 days showcasing Tinubu administration’s achievements in FCT education sector

Nyesom Wike, minister of the federal capital territory (FCT), says he will dedicate 20 days to highlight the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration in the education sector within the territory.

Wike spoke on Tuesday during the commissioning of newly provided engineering infrastructure in the Wuye district of Abuja.

“We will take 20 days to show Nigerians — and the so-called social media presidents — what we have done in the education sector. We are not going to rush,” the minister said.

He added that the projects would surprise critics who assume the administration’s efforts are limited to road networks and physical infrastructure.

“We are going to shock them with what we have done in the education sector so that they will know that President Tinubu’s administration is not only focusing on roads and other infrastructure in the FCT but also paying serious attention to education,” he said.

Wike also hinted that he would take a short break after the ongoing commissioning and flag-off exercise.

“I have told the Chief of Staff that after these 20 days of commissioning and flag-offs, we’ll take a rest and then return to focus fully on education,” he said.
