Hope Uzodimma, governor of Imo, has removed C.O.C Akaolisa as the state’s attorney-general and commissioner for justice.
Declan Emelimba, Imo state’s commissioner for information and strategy, announced Akaolisa’s removal in a statement issued on Monday.
According to Emelimba, the governor directed Akaolisa to hand over all government property under his care to the solicitor-general and permanent secretary in the ministry of justice.
The governor did not give reasons Akaolisa’s removal at the time of filing this report.
