Koboko Master becomes first comedian to use Transcorp Hilton’s new 3,000-capacity event centre

Gbadamosi ThankGod Benard, popularly known as Koboko Master, is set to make history as the first comedian to host a show at the newly commissioned 3,000-capacity event centre at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
The much-anticipated show, titled “In Da Beginning”, was initially slated for the Congress Hall but has now been moved to the newly opened ultra-modern venue due to overwhelming interest and high-ticket demand.
The new facility, which recently hosted billionaire businessman Obinna Iyiegbu (aka Obi Cubana) for his lavish 50th birthday celebration, is now poised to welcome comedy lovers from across the capital and beyond.
Described as a landmark achievement in his career, Koboko Master has built a reputation as one of Nigeria’s leading stand-up comedians, hosting sold-out events nationwide since 2017.
He gained further acclaim through Comedy Bloodline, a series he co-hosted with fellow comic MC Edo Pikin since 2022.
“In Da Beginning”, scheduled for June 15, 2025, will feature a stellar lineup of industry heavyweights, including Acapella, De Stalker, Gordons, MC Edo Pikin, Arinze Baba, and ATM, among others.
Organisers say ticket sales have been impressive, with numerous corporate partnerships secured to enhance brand visibility at the event.
Koboko Master expressed gratitude to the management of Transcorp Hilton for granting him the honour of inaugurating the new facility, noting the long-standing relationship between both parties.
Abuja residents are encouraged to attend in large numbers and enjoy an evening of top-tier comedy in a serene, state-of-the-art setting.
