DSS arrests ‘sponsors, tailors sewing Russian flags for protesters’ in Kano
The Service has apprehended some tailors in Kano State responsible for making Russian flags being distributed in the area. Some of their sponsors have also been picked.

The Department of State Services (DSS) says some tailors sewing Russian flags for protesters and their sponsors have been arrested in Kano.
The secret police announced the arrest in a statement posted on its official X handle on Monday.
“The DSS can confirm that Adaramoye Michael (aka Michael Lenin) is not in its custody. Meanwhile, the Service has apprehended some tailors in Kano State responsible for making Russian flags being distributed in the area. Some of their sponsors have also been picked. Investigation is ongoing,” the statement reads.
Earlier, a tailor in the commercial city was arrested by police operatives on Monday.
The tailor, identified as Ahmed, was said to have some Russian flags at the time of his arrest.
Since the commencement of the #EndBadGovernance protest in many parts of the country on August 1, some protesters were seen in Kano waving Russian flags.
