inDrive appoints Abhey Lamba as chief financial officer

Global mobility and delivery platform, inDrive, has appointed Abhey Lamba as its new chief financial officer (CFO) as the company seeks to strengthen its leadership team and support its continued global expansion.
The company announced the appointment in a statement, noting that Lamba has joined its executive management team at a time when inDrive is expanding its operations across 48 countries.
As CFO, Lamba will oversee the company’s global finance operations, including financial planning and reporting, accounting, taxation and investor relations.
He will also support the growth of inDrive’s core mobility business and its expanding services in delivery, freight, advertising and financial services for drivers.
Speaking on his appointment, Lamba described inDrive as a profitable and mission-driven company operating at scale across some of the world’s fastest-growing markets.
“inDrive has built something rare: a profitable, mission-led business operating at meaningful scale across some of the world’s most dynamic markets, with fairness wired into how it serves drivers and riders,” he said.
“I look forward to partnering with Arsen and the leadership team to build the financial discipline and governance to support inDrive’s next chapter.”
Arsen Tomsky, founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of inDrive, said Lamba’s appointment reflects the company’s confidence in its future growth trajectory.
“I’m very pleased to welcome Abhey to the company. He brings deep expertise in a variety of strategic leadership roles across the finance organisation, including financial planning and analysis, investor relations and equity research,” Tomsky said.
He added that the appointment follows the recent hiring of Sidd Mantri as chief product officer and forms part of efforts to build a leadership team capable of driving the company’s next phase of growth.
Lamba brings extensive experience spanning the technology and finance sectors. Before joining inDrive, he served as CFO of RingCentral, where he led the company’s global finance operations during a period of significant market transformation driven by artificial intelligence.
He also previously served as vice-president of infrastructure finance at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and held senior finance leadership positions at Cisco and Autodesk.
Earlier in his career, Lamba spent 15 years as an equity analyst at Mizuho Securities, UBS and ISI Group, advising institutional investors and technology firms on financial strategy and investor engagement.
He began his professional career as a software engineer and holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, a Master of Science degree from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the Wharton School.
The appointment comes amid strong financial performance by inDrive. The company reported gross bookings of $6.4 billion in 2025, representing an increase of about 30 per cent year-on-year.
Revenue also rose by 31 per cent to $601.6 million, while the company recorded positive adjusted EBITDA and net income during the period.
