President Bola Tinubu has met with the leaders of Nigeria’s Catholic church in Rome.
The president, who has been in the Vatican since Saturday for the inauguration of Pope Leo XIV met with the Catholic leaders on Monday.
Tinubu is among the world leaders invited to witness the Pope’s inauguration.
Among those who met with Tinubu were Mathew Kukah, the bishop of the Sokoto diocese; Lucius Ugorji, the archbishop of Owerri diocese; Ignatius Kaigama, Catholic archbishop of Abuja; and Alfred Adewale Martins, archbishop of the metropolitan See of Lagos.
