Monday Okpebholo, governor of Edo, on Tuesday held a security meeting with political, religious, and traditional leaders, heads of security agencies on how to address the security challenges in the state.
A statement issued by Fred Itua, the chief press secretary (CPS) to the governor, said the security meeting was held in Iyamho, Etsako west LGA.
According to the statement, the governor vowed to deal decisively with criminal elements and make the state inhabitable for them.
Okepbholo said the stakeholders’ meeting had become necessary to ensure peace and security are maintained across the state, particularly in Edo north.
