Tinubu meets former Rivers sole administrator Ibas at Aso Rock
Ibas arrived at the State House on Wednesday around 5:50 pm, according to the Channels TV.

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday met with Ibok-Ete Ibas, the immediate past sole administrator of Rivers state, at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.
Ibas arrived at the State House on Wednesday around 5:50 pm, according to the Channels TV.
Ola Olukoyede, the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and Wale Edun, the minister of finance, were also spotted during the same time.
It was not immediately clear what the president and Ibas discussed during the meeting.
This is coming a few days after the lifting of the six-month emergency rule the president imposed on Rivers state as a result of an escalating political crisis.
The president also suspended Siminalayi Fubara, governor of Rivers; Ngozi Odu, his deputy; and all members of the state house of assembly.
Tinubu appointed Ibas, a retired naval chief, as the state’s sole administrator for six months.
The six-month emergency rule ended on September 17, as Fubara was asked to resume as governor of the state the following day.
Although Rivers house of assembly had planned to probe the administration of Ibas on how he managed the finance of the state during the six-month emergency rule, the former administrator rejected the resolution.
