VIDEO: Buhari laid to rest in his Daura residence

The remains of former President Muhammadu Buhari have been laid to rest at his residence in Daura, his hometown in Katsina state.
The body left London, United Kingdom (UK), earlier on Tuesday and was received at Umaru Musa Yar’Adua international airport in Katsina by President Bola Tinubu.
The Times of Abuja reported that the body would first be brought into the residence for his immediate family members and close relatives to bid him a final farewell.
After some moments at the residence, the hearse conveyed Buhari’s remains to the prayer ground.
President Tinubu arrived at the airport from Abuja at 1:42 p.m. and inspected a guard of honour before the Nigerian Air Force plane conveying the remains of his predecessor landed at exactly 1:51 p.m.
Former President Buhari passed away on Sunday, July 13, in a London hospital.
